Sanctuary Omega

“But a Samaritan, as he travelled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.”

Motivations and Goals

The last port of call for metahumans in trouble with the law, persecuted by the authorities or hate-groups (which, in the chapter's parlance often includes superhero teams) or endangered by their own abilities, Sanctuary Omega is the least combative arm of the Pantheon. It is concerned with delivering assistance and aid to the chosen ones in disaster-stricken areas or flourishing cities alike. It is also the chapter that oversees the Metahuman Outreach Program, providing shelter and support to young metas, which has become by far the most effective recruitment tool the Pantheon has.

Gilead is an empathic healer and devoted caretaker for what he sees as his flock. Though a member of the Pantheon's inner circle, Lunar is also highly involved with the chapter.

With its focus on relatively mundane aid work and custodianship, Sanctuary Omega is often seen as a place for those Pantheites without any significant or combat-ready abilities to excel. Gravastar is careful to encourage this, spending at least as much time lauding her healers and helpers as her soldiers and destroyers in Lex Talionis.
